THE WEALTH ICEBERG

For many UHNW individuals and business families, their total wealth can be envisioned as an Iceberg...  The Wealth Iceberg.

The visible tip of the iceberg is only 10% - 20%.  This represents Investible Wealth - financial assets and investments.

The remaining 80% - 90% is the hidden iceberg.  This represents their Business Wealth - business assets, typically substantial shareholdings in their family businesses, either privately-owned and/or public listed companies.

In the case of Asian business entrepreneurs, especially founders active in wealth creation and continuing with the second generation for wealth consolidation, the majority of their total wealth is this hidden iceberg.
